"So the Lord
said, "If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto
this sycamore tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the
sea; and it should obey." (Luke 17:6)
If faith is equivalent to the size of a mustard seed, can
cause a tree to uproot itself and replant itself in the ocean, what can our
faith do? "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (II Corinthians
5:7). As children we've all asked our
parents or grandparents for something that we really wanted. We didn't think
about what could prevent us from getting it or what bills were due, we just
hoped that we'd get it. The faith of a child, doesn't focus on what's going on
around them, because they believe that no matter what, parents can make it
happen. They’ve set their minds on "it will happen mode." If children
believe their natural parents for the impossible, why can't we do that with our
Heavenly Father? Jesus said unto him, "If thou canst believe, all things
are possible to him that believeth” (Mark9:23).
Weeds of doubt try to choke out our faith! It's time to pull
up the weeds and stand in faith knowing that all things are possible with GOD.
We also must understand that the Lord moves in His timing. That's where the
enemy tries to chip away at our faith, hoping that we'll get impatient and try
to make things happen on our own. "Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"(Hebrews 11:1). Even when we
can't see it, know that it's already in God's hand waiting on us.
The Victory is yours!
