Just sitting this week thinking about life’s journey, a song came to mind, See what the lord has done. Despite my going through, despite my life failures, despite all the heartaches and pain...The song tells us to count your many blessing and see what the Lord has done. It’s an oldie but goodie.
The lyrics are, "see what the lord has done, see what the lord has done. You alta count your many blessings see what the lord has done. You know he woke me up this morning see what the lord has done. He gave me food to eat, he healed this body of mine see what the lord has done. When I look around and see all the things the lord has done for me, there’s one thing I got to tell him, I got to tell him thank you Jesus...I thank you for the water, bread, shelter over my head. I thank you for the sunshine, health and strength, even the pain. The reasons why I thank him cause you been so good to me."
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, count your many blessings and name them one by one. It will surprise you what the lord has done. Are you ever burdened with a load of care? Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear? Count your many blessings and every doubt will fly and you will keep singing as the days go by. See what the lord has done.
