And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)
When we hear the word LOVE, we think of so many things, but what does it really mean? LOVE is the ultimate expression of God's loyalty, purity, and mercy extended toward his people, it can also be reflected in human relationships of brotherly concern, marital fidelity, and adoration of God.
LOVE is a word that is used so loosely, it is also an action word which is rarely shown in its true form. When we tell someone we LOVE them, are we just paying lip service, or do we genuinely LOVE them the way God commanded us to. Some people may be hard to LOVE, but we must love in spite of and not because of.
The purpose of my instruction is that all Christians would be filled with LOVE that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and sincere faith 1Tim 1:5. If we allow God's LOVE to control us, imagine the impact the Kingdom would have.
If you don't remember anything else remember this: God said: There are three things that will endure: Faith, Hope, and LOVE and the greatest of these is LOVE. 1 Corinthians 13:13
Very inspiring Sharon, continue to bless others with your words. Glovetta
