Let it Go By Schmieka Dean

Luke 6:37," Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven."
When we've been pierced, pricked or pushed, we sometimes hold a grudge to help us cope. If someone won't agree with our point of view, we gather a grudge around us for protection. Grudges numb us to the torment of emotional pain. We put on a thick, heavy duty grudge and act as if nothing is wrong. Everything is someone else's fault. The question to ask, are we really protecting ourselves? Are we really coping?

Grudges are like a protection from further injury. Behind the shield, we still lose out. The protection is false, if we are true to our self. The walls may free us from the interference of others, but they won't save us from the resentment and bitterness of our OWN hearts. Forgive for both yourself and others. Sometimes said easier than done, but just Let It Go!

 FREE YOURSELF!!!!!

Have a Great Week
