Woe to him who quarrels with his Maker, to him who is but a potsherd among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, What are you making? Does your work say, He has no hands? ~ Isaiah 45:9
Do you ever wish you could be like someone else? Maybe another kid seems smarter or stronger or cooler. Or maybe you want to be older, faster, or better looking. We don’t bring glory to God by hiding our abilities or by trying to be someone else. Anytime we dislike any part of ourselves, we are rejecting God’s wisdom and purpose in creating us.
Like a proud parent, God enjoys watching us use the talents and abilities he has given us. God gave each one of us different gifts for his enjoyment. He has made some to be athletic and some to be scientific. He made some to be quite and others to be loud. You may be gifted at art or math or listening or one of the thousand other skills. All your abilities can bring a smile to God’s face. So it’s simple just be you!!! I hope this really helps someone today, allow your kids to read this also. We’ve all been faced with peer pressure, wanting to be like someone else at one point in time. Love you all!!!
