Connectivity By Veronica Grayson

In thinking about our theme for this year UNITY, I’m trying to fit all the pieces of the puzzle together. So I go to what I know, the human body. In the body one organ/bone cannot function alone.  The heart cannot function without the brain, the brain cannot function without the lungs, the lungs cannot function without the brain…see the picture? So the church cannot advance in the kingdom without the proper connections.

The Apostle cannot function without Prophet, the Prophet cannot function without the Evangelist, the Evangelist cannot function without the Pastor, the Pastor cannot function without the Teacher and none of them cannot function without the body or members. What I mean is the toes cannot function without a foot and the body cannot function without a proper nerve conductivity to stimulate MOVEMENT…in being unified we must make sure our connectivity is right from the top to the bottom! Our lives were reconnected to God through Christ Jesus by the shedding of his blood to reestablish us to what we would have been eternally disconnected from.

Colossians 2: 16-19: "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.  These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow."

Have a Blessed week,
Anointed Lady Vee
