If I Count My Blessings By Linda Quinn Brown

If I count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
I would see the love of Jesus,
And all that He has done.

If I count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
I would thank God for saving me,
Because nothing is greater than salvation.

If I count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
I have to thank Him for blessing me
With grandbaby Carson and two wonderful sons.

If I count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
Next on my list is none other
Than my sweet and loving mother.

If I count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
My sisters and brothers are there next to you,
And, oh yes, my enemies are there too.

If I count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
Church family, co-workers and those that I miss,
I need not say, but are high on the list.

If I count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
I’d thank God for grace and mercy,
And my mansion beyond the sun.

If I count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
There is no way I could tell it all,
From the victories to the cushion each time I fall.

As I count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
I overlook the heartache and pain,
And focus on the sunshine after the rain.

As you count my blessings,
And name them one by one,
Don’t look at the mountains or high tide,

Only that God never left your side.
