Stand and Pray By Kenya Cannon

James 5:16-18

Being a believer in Christ, we should have the faith of Christ knowing that he will provide. Standing on his word and praying his word may not always be easy. However, we have to know that if the prayers of a righteous or a favored man is powerful and effective, that God will surely get to our prayer request(s) as soon as He can.

We do understand that He can do anything at any moment and can provide far above what we will ever ask. If He was sure to answer the cry of Elijah (to shut up heaven's rain), then we should be sure that he will also release the rain when the time comes!

Let's be sure we have made faith our standing post and that it is indeed the hope of our future. We have to start moving and activating our faith of things in order to see a natural response. Faith is knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that it will happen.

Although it may start supernatural, we still have to apply faith to bring it down to where we are in order to use it. Faith may seem to be a test of your humanity or human-ness. In reality, it is really just the evidence of your application of inhuman abilities. When things start to manifest in your life and you've applied your faith in more than one location, you can be sure that God will show up and he's going to do everything necessary to make sure that He gets the glory. Your faith applied with his spirit equals nothing, but a successful outcome!

I encourage you to stand in your faith, apply it in every moment, and wait for God to release the rain!
