Unity-We All Have A Part by Fannie Pledger-Pettway

Scripture:  1 Corinthians 1:10 - Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Cyril Ramaphosa, "we must stop the division among us.  We must stop factionalism.  We must embrace unity; we must embrace working together, because if we are divided, we will not be able to win in 2019".

Unity is a key component to succeeding in things we desire to accomplish in life.  Without unity, there will be many restrictions to occur, whether in our homes, on the jobs, or in the churches.  Nevertheless, togetherness is the way.  As I excogitated on the word "unity", it touched home, meaning, I had to ask myself, "do I have unity within my home"?  Unity cannot function anywhere else if it is not functioning properly within our homes.  It is evident that we model unity as it is developed inside of our homes so that unity can be easily created outside of the homes.  One example that came to mind, was, if my dining room table had four legs, but one of the legs became loose, my table would be unstable; therefore, in order to have a balanced table, I would need to tighten all of the legs to balance things out.  In other words, if someone is weak within the body, it's up to the next person to back track and pull that person forward.

Review the image below for thought---if your heart is broken, how can you function properly?  If your heart only loves when you want it to, how can you be true to others?  If your heart is whole, it will be easy to give your all.  Let your heart be healed to give your all in unity.  Remember, it takes each of us to make things work.
